A clean sweep for the Belles in individual Winter League results

The Cambridge Harriers Winter Race Walking League has seen some remarkable Belgrave success these last few months and the momentum continued as Lauren Whelan took first place over 5k in 25:30 and Maureen Noel 2nd in 29:40. They placed 1st and 3rd in the league at the completion of the series. Sabina Brown, not racing this time out while nursing an injury but still supporting the team, was 2nd in the league - a clean sweep.

In new racing shoes John Hall brought his times down by nearly two minutes to clock 26:11 as he prepares for the European Masters Indoor Championships in San Sebastian in less than three weeks time. Paul King followed with his best for the year of 30:18.
