Cabbage Patch 10 Mile, Twickenham, 16 October 2016
Well done to all fellow Belgravians who attended the annual Cabbage patch. It's back from a year off last year in 2015 due to the Rugby World Cup clash although wet and windy conditions made the course a little slippery. The Cabbage Patch 10 mile race for those of you that don't know is one of the flattest and fastest 10 miler's in the country. Starting and finishing in Twickenham with Richard Nerurkar in a time of 46:02.Paskar finished 4th in a time of 50:50 and myself in a new PB of 59:11 despite feeling under the weather and racing against the likes of Steph Twell, Hannah Walker and the Run Fast crew. Alex Miller ran I fine race comfortably finishing in the top 20 in a time of 55:58. Sadly without a full and fast team, Serpentine took the team prize.I also spotted in the results 2 other Belgrave runners James Morris & Susan Porter that joined us in the race today. https://www.sportsystems.co.uk/ss/results/Cabbage%20Patch%2010/1927
