Belgrave dominate third Rosenheim fixture
Wins for both Belgrave women and men at the third Rosenheim meeting.
There was a strong turnout for the final East Division Rosenheim match at Tooting Bec and the wins qualify Belgrave for the final at Kingsmeadow on Wednesday 17th August. Due to coronavirus, it will be the first final since 2019 when the Belles came first won the shield and the men came 2nd.
In the women's match at Tooting there were wins for Rosey Smythe in the 100m, Joanne peak in the 400m, Fiona Maddocks in the 800m Natalie Beadle in the 1500m, Lea Adamson in the 3000m, and the 4 X 200m relay. In other words a clean sweep of all the track races except the 200m. Also, Lina Shkier won the Hammer Throw.
Kareen Selman-Jackson came first in the 400m, Matjus Mager won both the Shot and Hammer and the men won the 4 X 200m relay.
Henry Hart narrowly lost out in a tactical 1500m but was rewarded with a PB. He was then joined by Jonny Scott in the non-scoring 3000m race in which they both went sub-9.
