Sarah Astin sets new club record at Trafford 10k

Just eight days after winning the national cross country title, Sarah’s 5th place beats the previous club best of 32:58, set by Tish Jones in Durban, SA in 2017.
Both times are inside the 33:09.47 club record for 10,000m on the track, set by Getenesh Tamirat at the British Championships in Birmingham in 2012 - that mark could be in danger this summer.
Sarah’s 5k PB of 16:09 is better than the current 16:14 club record but set while she was still representing City of Norwich AC.
