Star sprinter Kyle Reynolds-Warmington capped of an incredible season competing in the U15 boys 60m where he ran a PB on the foam track of 7.17 and took the triple crown after having won his events in 2014 & 2015 also. Meanwhile Belgrave newcomer Isimeme Shaw took a respectable third place and bronze medal in 7.49 in the U17 boys final. Osayi Egharevba also ran making the semi finals in the U15 girls 60m and Inza Dosso and Nicholas Hamilton also put in fine performances to both make the semi finals for the U15 boys 60mThe Street Athletics event is inspired and led by former Olympian Linford Christie who was there to watch the day’s events. It was noted that he was very impressed with Kyle’s run and there are now talks of making Kyle an Ambassador of Street Athletics where he can use his experiences to guide other athletes, so watch this space.Kyle was also fortunate enough to meet Katharine Merry, a former English female sprinter of Birchfield Harriers who won a bronze medal in the 400m sprint at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and was the fastest woman in the World over 400m in 2001.http://www.streetathletics.co.uk/StreetAthletics/street-athletics-inspires-young-athlete/[/ezcol_2third_end]Linford Christie and Kyle Reynolds-WarmingtonKyle Reynolds-Warmington and Kathryn Merry.
