Eleven juniors run scorching 1500m times at Sutton

Eleven Belgrave juniors turned out to run some brilliant 1500m times at the SLAN (South London Athletics Network) meet in Sutton on May 16th.

Coach Terry’s heart attack moment of the day was Jediael arriving literally ONE MINUTE before his race, without time to put on spikes, and still pinning on his number when the gun went. He ran the quickest of our times on the day.

The biggest finishing cheer of the day was for Micky, running a personal best and switching from a pained expression to grinning from ear to ear, all within 50 metres.

Jediael, Oliver and Lucas gained London Schools qualifying times.
