Belles take National Bronze
In a race widely recognized by the community as perhaps the most competitive 10k in Britain for 25 years, our girls found themselves startled by quality buzzing all around at the National 10k in Leeds on November 16th.
With Sam nearly breaking 36, she was supported by two rock-solid runners in Sophie and Lou; with yet more back up from Sarah Murphy (37:54) and Zoe Doyle (38:00). We saw off the threat of Wakefield by 6 seconds; and it can be duly noted that we closed in our runners ahead of the champions, Bristol.Congratulations to all - a most welcome addition to the honours board.Team Women1.
