There's been plenty of exciting claret and gold action on the roads this past couple of weekends.Sophie Carter ran an exceptional race to win the Abingdon Marathon last weekend in 2:50:21, while Sarah Murphy secured a solid 3:06 at Amsterdam. And today, Sam Amend ran within 22 seconds of her pb to place 17th at Frankfurt in 2:42:33, winning the W35's.Fee Maycock had a fine 4th place finish in the Stroud Half in 84:16, while of course winning the W45's.  Meanwhile, her co-skipper HBR wrote in some hysteria to say she had just gone sub-19:30 for 5k.  On a treadmill.  In Egypt. At the GSR Wicksy [18th] slogged it out with Scott Overall before giving best to the Heathen by 6 seconds in 49:35.In the same race Gus Upton continued his quiet ascent with a useful 34th in 54:33; and postie Peter Cross scuttled round in an even 70.We know there are many of you out there racing, especially at Parkruns, so we can't give everyone a menche, but starting from now, we shall endeavour to do weekly or fortnightly individual round-ups of road activity.  In order to save us combing websites far and wide, don't be shy to mail in your results, if you'd care for them to appear in the round-up.  Write to willcockerell@gmail.com
