Congratulations to all the winners at our annual awards dinner 2021, held at the Duke’s Head in Putney.
Sammi Amend won the Centenary Cup for her 100 mile British record
Reece Edwards won the Tommy Green Cup for the most meritorious men's performance of the year: a 2:13:25 for 3rd place at the S7 marathon in Austria.
400m sensation Sian Harry won best women's performance in both the National League and the Southern League
Sprinter Sam Ige won best men's performance in the National Athletics League
Sam Gebreselassie won best men's performance in the Southern Athletics League for a brilliant solo 3000m at Battersea
Coach and team manager Bob Bridges was recognised with a lifetime achievement award
Conall McNally won the men's Winter Plate for a brilliant set of road and cross country performances for the club last winter
Chris Privett won the Team Player award for his consistency of performance and team spirit. He made a total of 17 scoring performances for the club in league meetings this summer, brought along new throwers to the club and organised an invitational throws match at Battersea.
