Belgrave race walker Tom Cook dies at 89
We are sad to learn of the death of Tom Cook on December 5th, at the age of 89. His wife notified Belgrave.
Tom was a race walker, and compatriot of Doug Fotheringham. He joined Belgrave in 1954 and competed over three decades. He was a London Black Cab driver and was a regular training at the Duke of York's or Battersea.
In recent years he retired to the Westcountry but still kept in contact with the club, and only in November was a winner in the Belgrave 200 Club.
