The 34th Hercules Wimbledon Young Athletes Open Meeting

Wimbledon Park Stadium, April 12th, 2015

Following last year’s highly successful re-location of this major meeting from Crystal Palace to our home stadium at Wimbledon Park, we will be staging it there again this year on April 12th. As always we look forward to a fun curtain raiser to the track and field season, with some keen competition for your athletes.

Now in its 34^th year, the meeting includes events from U11 to U20. U20 men and women also have the rare opportunity to test themselves over the mile distance, in the Dave Clarke Mile (separate races for both men and women), for which there are cash prizes for the first three places. One of Britain's finest cross country runners (representing GB eleven times), and the current Club Chairman, Dave is also one of Hercules Wimbledon AC's best known track athletes, who set his best time of 3:56.95 for the mile at Crystal Palace in 1982.

The closing date for entries is Friday, 20th March.

Parking at the Stadium is limited, but it is easily accessible by public transport. The nearest tube station is Southfields on the District Line, and the number 39 and 493 buses stop just by the entrance to the Park on Wimbledon Park Road. See www.herculeswimbledonac.org.uk for a map.
